Big Buddha

This is impressive and stands tall, high on a mountain and can be seen from many places in Phuket without actually going to see it up close. At 45 metres tall, the statue is one of Phuket island’s most iconic landmarks in the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata.

The long and winding road leading up to the statue takes you through authentic Thai countryside and the views from the top of the hill are simply breathtaking.

Phi Phi Islands, Surin and Similans

Arguably, Koh Phi Phi is the most famous of islands surrounding Phuket. Phi Phi refers to two islands and is part of the Andaman Sea. Phi Phi can be a popular tourist attraction, with its beautiful, pristine beaches, wildlife, scuba diving and snorkeling. Maya beach was the now famous setting for the film, The Beach, starring Leonardo Di Caprio.

The Similans and Surin is where divers can dive in crystal clear waters and can see a vast array of marine life, such as octopus, leopard and whale sharks and colourful, exotic fish.

The World Famous Bangla Road

If music, nightcubs and bars are your thing, then Bangla Road in Patong will be right up your street.

Bangla Road or ‘Walking Street’ is literally one bar or club after another, with a variety of music to suit anyone. There are cocktail bars, English style pubs or Thai bars with dancing girls. There really is something for everyone.

Simon Cabaret

Located very close to Patong Beach, and is in a very handy location to get to. Simon Cabaret is host to one of the largest lady boy shows in Phuket. The sets, costumes and dance routines are incredible. The performers are energetic and glamorous and it is very quickly becoming one of Phuket’s main tourist attractions and is well worth a visit.

Phuket Fantasea

This is suitable if you want a fun, family night out. Fantasea is located in its own theme park complex. Fantasea has circus performers, exotic animals that all help to tell a Thai traditional story with real drama and style.

The complex houses a shopping park, restaurants and has various carnival games.
